Cabins

Two Unique Forest Escapes — One Rustic, One Roomy, Both Surrounded by Nature

Our cabins offer the best of Cook Forest living: morning coffee on a screened porch, quiet woods, wildlife wandering through, and that feeling you only get when you step away from the busy world and into the trees.

Whether you want an unplugged 1950s retreat or a spacious cabin for your whole crew, both of our properties offer a different experience — but the same forest calm.

River Otter Cottage

  • River Otter feels like stepping back in time — in the best way.

Owl House Cabin

Spacious • Modern Rustic • Meadow & Wildlife Views

Large families • Multi-family groups • Girls' trips • Retreats • Holidays in the forest

Owl House Includes:

  • Great for game nights

  • Space to breathe, spread out, and enjoy the quiet

  • Morning coffee on the porch = magic

The porch alone sells the stay — the deer just make it extra special.

Pet-Friendly Cabins

We welcome dogs at both cabins with simple guidelines:

  • $25 per night per pet

  • 2 pets max

  • No size restrictions

  • Use the Kantha quilts for any furniture cuddles

  • Please don't leave pups alone too long — they get sad and loud

  • Keep dogs leashed outdoors (wildlife is close)

  • Clean up required

  • Cabins have simple key locks (no digital codes)

Your pups are part of your family — they're part of our forest family too.
